Exhibitions

The main gallery, the Center’s 2,500-square-foot exhibition hall, is a light-filled space providing an attractive setting for paintings, sculpture, and photography. The Ludington Area Center for the Arts hosts a variety of exhibitions throughout the year, featuring the work of artists from the area
and beyond.

Past presentations have featured a display of artifacts depicting the history of the Lake Michigan Carferry system, the annual West Shore Art League membership show, and an exhibition of paintings by local artists on the theme “Sweet Summer.” Smaller shows, such as the work of Michigan children’s book author and illustrator, Patricia Polacco, are mounted in the vestibule area.
